From an entrepreneurial perspective, we will stimulate young peoples entrepreneurial skills throughout the project, fostering curiosity, creativity, and the willingness to take the leap.
SkillsXcellerate project focusing on entrepreneurship promotion with inclusion of disadvantaged youth regardless of background environment, gender, race, religion or learning disabilities.
Our goal is to create extensive modules featuring with content to provide entrepreneurial education to digitally native youth (ages 18+) who have access to entrepreneurial resources tailored to their varied backgrounds and aimed at breaking stereotypes.
To achieve this goal, we will enhance the pedagogical and technical skills of youth workers and educate them on entrepreneurial subjects and problem-solving techniques to effectively connect with and inspire underprivileged youth.
SkillsXcellerate wants to present the relevance of entrepreneurial skills and competencies to everyday life. We will support this with a guide for youth workers, and 30 inspiring stories of youth who succeeded against all odds to brush aside stereotypes.
Another of SkillXcellerate's goals is to bridge the existing gaps in youth entrepreneurship to boost the sense of active citizenship while building on the competence of youth workers.
To achieve this, we have defined clear objectives in correlation with our selected priorities:
- To foster a space where every young individual, irrespective of their socio-economic
background, religion, ethnicity, or gender can evolve as informed, active citizens, feeling
more included into society, we will:
- Empower youth to educate themselves on entrepreneurial skills and business development
to take an active part in their communities, driving local initiatives and projects.
- Stimulate young minds to appreciate diversity and create inclusive environments.
- Supporting youth in understanding their rights, encouraging them to build bridges across
different cultural and social backgrounds.
